Progeria

I had never know that there is a disease call Progeria before i watched it in tv today. I believe some of you had never heard this kind of disease like me.

Progeria is an extremely rare genetic condition which causes physical changes that resemble greatly accelerated aging in sufferers. It affects around 1 in 4-8 million newborns. Currently, there are approximately 35 known cases in the world with no known cure. Most children with the disease die around 13 years of age. (taken from wikipedia)

The program I watched is about a girl who suffering progeria disease and tell us how she is fighting with her disease. Hope she is still fit till the cureness be found.

Please visit The Progeria Research Foundation homepage http://www.progeriaresearch.org/index.shtml and help as you can.
